Due to terrential downpours, I slept over in Milan and woke up juice-less for breakfast/lunch/brunch… kinda woke up at 1pm, and I’m trying to recall whether I was happy or disappointed about this non-juice situation.
I’m pretty sure my body woke up wanting the smoothie, but my mind was sooo excited to have a proper breakfast… so I decided to make eggs with grated zucchini. However, post breakfast I felt heavy and I could tell that my body was totally pissed off at me for effing up the program.
To make up for my mistake, I decided to go to the closest gelateria to get a Fruttini (Italian Ice Pop made with 100% Fresh Fruit +/- added sugar)… yes, this is EXACTLY how my brain functions.
While enjoying my fruit pop, I glanced at my juice itinerary for the day and noticed that it was the same program as Day 1… so I thought I’d switch it up a bit to make things interesting.
Looked at some of the recipes (Jason Vales Super Detox Juice to be specific), compared what I had in my fridge and decided to throw in whatever I could find… added half of a leftover banana, 3/4 of a cucumber, spinach… lots of spinach, a thin slice of lemon, ran out of apple (note to self: order apples), and threw in some fresh ginger. Honestly if I had more room in my blender, I would’ve put more.
After my lazy Sunday, Day 4 is over. I’m half way through the program and even though I feel great, I can’t wait to fast forward to Day… 8!
