CAMBODIAN SUPERMARKETS : FULLY STOCKED WITH IMPORTED PRODUCTS FROM THE USA

20111210-163631

Considering the fact that Cambodia is a third world country, I was incredibly surprised to find so many imported snacks and food items in the supermarket, well, at least at THIS supermarket.

I’ve been finding it a little difficult to eat food here because the cuisine is sour, sweet and spicy. I mean it tastes good but my stomach is just getting use to these new flavors.

As a foreigner I’m doing my best to avoid all ice/water products (not to the point where I’m going Charlotte from SATC2 but being careful), and if I happen to stumble upon snacks that I’m familiar with… well, that just makes my day! Can Cambodia get any better?!

PS: President Brie cost me $7.00 but it was worth it.
PPS: They do not have Pocket Coffee, I’ve checked.
