Before I made the move to Milan, I didn’t appreciate NYC the way I do now…

I mean, where else can you stand 5 feet away from Wylie Dufresne of WD50?

… Kerry Heffernan of Top Chef Masters?

… Eric Ripert of Le Bernardin?

… Marcus Samuelsson of Red Rooster?

… and Anthony Bourdain?

(Yes, I had a groupie moment.)

All of these encounters happened outside of the kitchen, but I got in by wearing my Chef Whites.

  • At the 2012 International Chefs Congress, I cooked a 3-Course Lunch with Chef Richard LaMarita for the Staff

  •  At Bid Against Hunger 2012, I served Creamy Carrot Soup Shooters with the amazing Stone Barns Blue Hill crew
