Pie Party happened and it was delicious! Hosted by Jackie Gordon and Ken Leung for the 4th Year in a row, NYC food bloggers (and beyond) put on their oven mitts to show off their baking skills.
I showed up at the Institute of Culinary Education with a Homemade Apple Pie! I love apple pie… so I’m pretty sure I’ll bring this to Pie Party 2016 too.
My favorite savory pie was the Cauliflower Gruyere Pie with Potato Crust and Bacon- Parmigiana Crumb Topping by Panning the Globe… recipe here.
My favorite sweet pie was the Concord Grape Tart in a Peanut Butter Cookie Crust by No More Mr. Nice Pie… recipe here.
And aside from eating really good pie for days (literally), I’m so happy I had the opportunity to see friends in the community while tasting their talent!
